Why hair? Hair is beautiful, but it is so much more than that! Hair can tell a story of your heritage – that it can connect different generations. Hair can be a crown of confidence. Hair can be a time where you bond with your family and friends. Hair is a form of self-expression and plays a big part in identity. Being able to help someone feel confident is one of the greatest experiences one can experience.

If you could describe yourself using a color, what would it be and why? I would describe myself using the color indigo. I consider myself to be thoughtful and deep, but down to earth. I am calm and open. I also think indigo is a soothing color and I hope I have that effect on people.

What makes you laugh the most? My husband’s laugh. He laughs at almost anything, but the way he laughs is so infectious and I can’t help but laugh. 

Do you collect anything? I weirdly collect differently shaped Cheetos. For instance, my two most prized Cheetos are a dragon and a penguin shaped Cheeto. I am not a collector that goes out of their way to find these things, but when I encounter one, I just don’t have the heart to eat it, so it becomes a part of my collection.

Who knows you best? My mom definitely knows me the best. She has always been my best friend and as an adult, we really have become even closer. 

What is your favorite family vacation? When we lived in Russia, we decided to vacation in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. It was so beautiful and honestly, after what seemed like the longest winter ever, the beachy sands of Egypt were most welcome. It was so relaxing and we did so many cool activities as a family while we were there. We went to Cairo to see the pyramids, rode camels, went snorkeling, 4- wheeled the dunes and ate amazing food. I loved the cool evenings and sipped on sweet mint tea with my dad. We all had such an amazing time there!

If you could eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? PHO!
