Why hair? To be a “day-maker”! I feel fortunate to be in a profession that is all about making someone feel good about themselves. The unique thing about doing hair is that not only can you make people look beautiful on the outside, but we play an integral role in making them feel beautiful on the inside.

If you could describe yourself using a color, what would it be and why? Green… it’s the perfect neutral. It’s neither warm nor cool, but both! 

What’s your favorite family tradition? My favorite time of year is the Christmas season so any and all traditions that revolve around that. Going to the mountains and cutting down our tree, decorating on or before Veterans Day (way before Thanksgiving!), writing a letter to Santa on Christmas Eve with my kids, John and Lucy, going to church to listen to music on Christmas Eve, making Christmas cookies with friends, having special meals with my family… I could go on and on!

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Homemade pasta, cheese, bread, salad! Italian!

What is your favorite family vacation? Growing up we would go to the NC coast every year and rent a house for the week. We have carried on the tradition and still go with my family and my husband’s family. 

What are your hobbies? Interior design, consignment shopping and antique furniture.

If money was no object, what would you do all day? Exactly what I’m doing. I feel like I hit the jackpot with my career. I know how fortunate I am to go to work every day and it does not feel like a job!
